Hello! My name is Yamila (pronounced Sha-mee-la). As a Certified Canadian Counsellor, I offer dedicated support to individuals (ages 16+) and couples navigating life’s complexities.

We all face seasons that feel heavy or overwhelming. My practice provides a safe, non-judgmental space to help you work through a wide range of challenges, including: anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, emotional dysregulation, burnout, stress management, low self-esteem, chronic illness, trauma, family conflict, relationship difficulties, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).

Because no two healing journeys are the same, I use an integrative approach to therapy. I blend evidence-based modalities tailored specifically to your unique needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Person-Centred Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Interventions.
